Former Kigumo constituency MP Jamleck Kamau has intensified his bid to ensure Murang’a county has health residents by organising free medical camps in various places.
As a result, thousands of local people who cannot afford to cater for various medical examinations, treatment and procurement of drugs been offered free services.
He has been organising free medical camps in all sub-couties which attract thousands of residents with various ailments.
They are tested, examined, treated and issued with the required medications, at the cost of Kamau.
Yesterday, Kamau disclosed that his initiative was attracting more needy cases that he had anticipated.
On his Facebook page, Kamau who is seeking to be the second Governor for Murang’a county posted, “went past the 4500 mark, with patients getting free fullbodycheckup, free glasses, Cataract surgeries, freemedicine and free dental service”.
Kamau and his team who were in Gakoigo and Nginda areas added, ” when I take over Muranga County and governor later this year, I guarantee health under my AfyaBora pillar of the Great5Agenda will continue to be my priority”.
