Manyatta Member of Parliament Gitonga Mukunji has underscored need for TVETs the technical and vocational education training institutes.
In his social media communication, he noted:
“Technical and Vocational Education Training Institutes (TVETS) have for years allowed students gain practical experience in different career paths, supplying the labor market with skilled workers.
Like Universities, TVETS also need proper funding from the government to improve their operations.”
He said this when he presided over the closing ceremony of the first TVET National Drama Festivals at Kigari TTC, Ruguru Ngandori where 58 institutions participated.
