Dr. Paula.O.M.Otukile
Dr. Paula.O.M.Otukile has embarked on 12 school Gender based violence and sexual abuse awareness campaigns in the country, powered by German Embassy.
On the interview today she said she will be in Greater Gaborone region due to financial constraints.
Dr Otukile expressed her concerns over the killings of children and Women. She further said dependency syndrome of females make the situation worse.
The campaigns are said are said to be yielding results except for lack of safe houses in the country where victims can be taken to.
Imagine being separated from the victim by the police and then after the case having to go back to house where you both live because one has got no home to go to.
Another painful fact is that power games become a force to reckon with when one party is broke and dependent on the culprit.
Dr Otukile said she wished to get aid to begin Atleast a small safe home for women and kids.
