Poverty has made me a slave of freedom!
I’m a free slave, courtesy of poverty
Every time I am endowed with it,
Freedom hits me crookedly!
I fail again seething in pain of :” I did not know!”
“I did no, know not!”
I fail and rise again with a crumb to feed my crumbling stomach.
I can’t stand the weighty key to my freedom.
“It’s too heavy to carry!” I mumble.
“It is too far too reach out to it!” I fumble.
Yet it’s an inch next to the crumbs I picked few seconds ago!
Poverty, oh poverty
My ignorance will kill my witty me again.
I am a free slave!
