Part 1 of Deuteronomy 31 teachings
Day 1.
Scripture reading:
Deuteronomy 31:12 “Make all the people come together, men and women and children, and anyone from another country who is with you, so that hearing they may become wise in the fear of the Lord your God, and take care to do all the words of this law;”
Devotional teaching with Evangelist Thokozani Ndinisa
When people choose to listen from what God says, they will become more wise, and also they fear God in spirit and in truth. Let’s live to obey God and to take his instructions in this world!
Day 2.
Scripture reading:
Deuteronomy 31:14 “At that time the Lord said to Moses, The day of your death is near: send for Joshua, and come to the Tent of meeting so that I may give him his orders. So, Moses and Joshua went to the Tent of meeting.”
Devotional teaching with Evangelist Thokozani Ndinisa
God knew when Moses was about to depart in this world, so he prepared Joshua, so he could lead the children of Israel. Even today, God still know when our final departure will take place in this world. So, let’s prepare ourselves daily for eternity as it’s real and once you depart in this world, there’s no turning back. Choose Jesus Christ and you will have eternal life!
Day 3.
Day 4.
Scripture reading:
Deuteronomy 31:13 “And so that your children, to whom it is new, may give ear and be trained in the fear of the Lord your God, while you are living in the land which you are going over Jordan to take for your heritage.”
Devotional teaching with Evangelist Thokozani Ndinisa
As children of God, let’s learn to give ear to good teachings that prepare us for what is ahead of us in this world. Joshua before he could lead the children of Israel had to receive orders from God, and he was taken by Moses to the Tent Meeting. Wise leader’s know how to pass the Barton to their successor in Ministry. As a senior leader don’t die with the Barton but pass it to the next person will you still alive? As we learn from Moses, he passed his Barton to Joshua before he could depart from this world. For us to become successful in the ministry, we must learn to take orders from God and be willing to obey God orders even in difficult time’s in our lives!
Day 5.
Scripture reading:
Deuteronomy 31:15 “And the Lord was seen in the Tent in a pillar of cloud resting by the door of the Tent.”
Devotional teaching with Evangelist Thokozani Ndinisa
God was able to appear during the meeting with Moses and Joshua at the tent. So, even today, God can still show up in your life and including in your current situation that you are passing through!
Day 6.
Scripture reading
Deuteronomy 31:16
“And the Lord said to Moses, Now you are going to rest with your fathers; and this people will be false to me, uniting themselves to the strange gods of the land where they are going; they will be turned away from me and will not keep the agreement I have made with them.”
Devotional teaching with Evangelist Thokozani Ndinisa
Moses before he could die, he was instructed by God to unite the children of Israel and also God was aware that the children of Israel are going to turn away from him along the way. It’s our duty as Christian to choose to remain in God and in his teachings even when we witness the departure of our loved ones in this world.
Day 7.
Scripture reading:
Deuteronomy 31:17”In that day my wrath will be moved against them, and I will be turned away from them, veiling my face from them, and destruction will overtake them, and unnumbered evils and troubles will come on them; so that in that day they will say, Have not these evils come on us because our God is not with us?”
Devotional teaching with Evangelist Thokozani Ndinisa
It doesn’t matter how wise you are or how strong you think you are! No one can stand against God wrath in this world. So let’s learn not to provoke God to react based on what we have done as human beings in this world. God is capable to turn away from us because of our actions and of the things which were are doing in this world. Our wickedness and disobedience, it’s capable to make God to turn away from us! Evil things will happen to us once God has turned away from us. Through it all we need God favor and to walk with him with obedient heart’s!
