High Court Advocate Ndegwa Njiru

Dear Mr. DO

I may be wrong but it appears that you are struggling to remain relevant within Nabii Ruto’s political circles.

I opine that if the DO will not strategise outside Ruto’s political circles, you risk being sidelined by Nabii’s political strategists.

The good DO must know that he is and has never been politically relevant to Ruto and must understand that he wasn’t appointed to deputise Ruto due to his political relevance but because it was the most fashionable thing to do as at time.

The DO must understand that he has now outlived his political usefulness within Nabii Ruto’s circles.

What the DO doesn’t understand is that he has been fattened for abattoir and that at the fullness of time, Rigathi will face the political knife.

For purposes of 2027, Ruto is determined to finish DO Rigathi in favour of Mudavadi, and this is because Nabii  is not politically ready to create another power house in the Mt. Kenya Region, or simply put, Ruto is not ready to build and/or empower the good DO for whatever purpose.

It’s thus incumbent for those Mt. Kenya political orphans milling around the good DO to rethink and perhaps redirect their political compass.

This is because following Rigathi might be akin to a fly that follows a casket to the grave or a tick that faithfully clings on a dead carcass.

The Agikuyu community might have to go behind the tent and interrogate whether the good DO is actually the ultimate and good polical bet for 2027 purposes.

I opine that the Agikuyu community must be destined for a political oblivion especially if they are to rely on Rigathi for whatsoever reason or purpose, reason being the good DO is a political greenhorn who appears to be politically intoxicated.

Gauging by his loose tongue and his culture of political abrasion that he has exhibited of late, one can only come to the conclusion that the good DO is drunk of power and that if he is not tamed, or if he doesn’t tame himself, Rigathi is headed for self-destruction.

Those that are close to him and to this extent, I challenge pastor Dorcas to attempt to give good counsel to the good DO to take it slow.

Grant unto the good DO a good counsel to inspire confidence in us instead of fear, to gather us instead of scattering us, to forgive us instead of condemning us, to welcome us instead of sending us away.

Those Mt. Kenya MPs who are now well fed by Rigathi must advise him to immediately stop his combative approach to politics. Advise him to co concentrate on building Bridges instead of burning them. Teach him the more the merrier concept.

Finally, I ask the good DO to have a loving heart that is full of patience and tolerance.

Yours Truly

Ndegwa Njiru

  1. This is a reflection of what the future holds for the DP and a reincarnation of the stake held by Vice Presidents during Moi era where oblivion was the only political destiny for those who appeared to emerge stronger than the king. The DP is no prince, neither is he the heir on the thrown, he however carries himself as one oblivious of the fact that the King has him in the palace to bark and to keep subjects out of palace.
