Laikipia County Government has an elaborate plan of making sure that all the residents in the area has enough water.
The government is initiating different water projects that will in the next few years see all locals have adequate water for their various needs.
Already, some projects have taken off through the government and private entities initiatives.
On Tuesday, area Deputy Governor Reuben Kamuri visited such project in Segera Ward to inspect the area project’s progress.
The deputy governor who was accompanied by CECM in charge of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Dennis Kasoo, inspected the water project under KSCAP programme in the ward which is in Laikipia North constituency.
“Our zeal as a County Government is to ensure that every resident of Laikipia has access to clean, affordable and sufficient supply of water,” lamented Kamuri after the tour.
