KWS carrying elephant

Three elephants reported to have caused human elephants conflicts in Kimana Area – Amboseli Ecosystem have been successfully captured & translocated to Ithumba area of Tsavo East Park.This follows a successful operation by the KWS vet teams with the help of the KWS airwing team
The KWS Ag. Director General applauded the teams for working closely with the community to ensure that the elephants are safely translocated to their new habitat.
He further encouraged communities to work closely with KWS and report incidences of Human Wildlife Conflict through the Toll free number 0800597000 for immediate intervention.
