Laikipia Deputy Governor Reuben Kamuri Hosts Habitat For Humanity Team

Laikipia County Deputy Governor yesterday hosted a team from Habitat for Humanity Kenya.
The team that comprised of, Mr and Mrs Rau from Lions Club Germany and other officials met at the office of the Governor in Nanyuki where discussions centered on issues surrounding water, sanitation and hygiene.
They also deliberated on the use of renewable energy in the county hospitals, ways of encouraging agroforestry for the purposes of carbon market and reafforestation to increase forest cover.
The deputy governor was accompanied by among others, the CECM for Health Mr Albert Taiti, his Water, Environment and Natural Resources counterpart Leah Njeri officials as well as other Senior County Government officials.
