Kwale Woman leader Nimusimu Mwasina has implored upon the government to do more in respect to enhancing women inclusivity in leadership positions.
The eloquent Honorable Mwasina said:
“Indeed women had been for long been neglected but at least we can see the government of his Excellency William Samoei Ruto has tried inclusivity.
We can look at the appointments being made and reflect on the above. We’ve seen several women having been appointed Cabinet and Principal Secretaries. Of late, we are seeing women being considered in Board appointments; that is, some are being appointed as Chairpersons or Directors of reputable Stare Parastatals, and, this is all about inclusivity.
At the moment, Kenyans are eagerly waiting to see a good number of women being appointed in the Cabinet Administrative Position since the shortlist has quite a number of women shortlisted. It is my belief that His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto is going to do it again, consider several women in those positions.”
