Consider Jeremiah 6: 13-14 : “And from the prophet even to the priest, Everyone deals falsely. 14 They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, Saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ When there is no peace”. We see that people had deep wounds and they needed healing, but those who were MANDATED to do it, didn’t give it the weight it deserved, and as a result God expressed His disappointment.
It is very critical also that the remedy is applied to its full capacity. Think of an under dose of a drug: what happens, it fails to cure and even can be as if no remedy was undertaken. We know that our God abhors half measures or imbalances. Let’s therefore heed to HIS prescription and remedy, that we may be truly healed, and truly saved/ delivered.
Note also, whatever we do not know (lack of diagnosis), can easily destroy us without our knowledge. It is written “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6).”
Nevertheless, Let this be settled in our heart always: ” For I am *persuaded/convinved* beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, [39] Nor height nor depth, *nor anything else in all creation* will be able to separate us from *the LOVE OF GOD which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.*”
This scripture makes me tremble with awe& reverence (Read Romans 8 from vs1 or the whole book).What a LOVING GOD we serve? Selah! , and the people of God said: AMEN, AND AMEN. HALELUJAH
