Worth Noting:
- In one stage or other of life we may not attain the expected results but that should not derail us from making other attempts and perfect what we had been able to attain in the past. Not achieving a hundred percent success rate is a matter of when and not if.
- Like a small kid who is learning how to walk keeps on trying until he or she succeeds so should we in our daily activities, with great determination we should not relent until we succeed in life.
- If something have already been invented to better it we need to innovate so we should use previous attempts in the projects that we want to undertake as learning experiences so as to reach higher performance levels.
In psychological resilience refers to the coping ability with a crisis or to return to pre-crisis status quickly. These abilities are both mental and emotional.
We say someone is resilient if he or she is able to use mental processes and behaviors to promote personal assets and protect self from the potential negative effects of stressors.
Resilience requires perseverance which helps to overcome setbacks due to worsening of circumstances.
If you are able to bounce back quickly after an upset or crises then you have more resilience or if it takes you quiet along period of time for issues normalize after crises then you have little resilience.
Resilience is not only applicable to humans but also to non-humans for example during a strong wind trees bend to avoid breaking only to return or spring back to normal or original position once the wind subsidies.
Most of the times resilience requires a change in strategy to arrive at the predetermined results after crises,
To be resilience we are supposed to face facts, give time for recovery and rebound with a progressive mentality.
A resilient person is optimistic in that he or she does not worry of how many times he or she fails but keeps on trying until success is attained.

If you try and fail in something that you wish to accomplish, use that failure as learning experience change the strategy and try harder.
In times when you fail in the first and second attempts do not be heart broken, continue identifying and rectifying the reasons behind the failure, make a third trial ,if successful appreciate the success.
Here are some steps towards developing resilience.
Be ready to move out of your comfort zone
Resilience and accelerated need for success requires you to take new or extra steps to go beyond possible hindrances. We should not shy away from applying new methods to accomplish a task; neither should we feel uncomfortable with seeking external support for things we are not conversant with. Many are times when we extend our reach we realise that things are not as bad as we may have previously thought to an extent that we regret why we never did the same earlier on.
The more we go beyond the horizon the more we gain freedom from fear.
Dependable and sufficient support system
When seeking for reinforcement to enable us to succeed in our projects it is prudent we ensure the sources are both sufficient and reliable. This will go long way in helping us to maximise chances of success and efficiency.
In addition when the source is reliable our trust is enhanced and so is morale. Stay connected to those who love and value you like family, friends, mentors and role models.
Remain objective
In times of challenges always keep your head above water, do not be faint hearted, remain objective; they will give you the required strength to sail through. Do not blame yourself; look at the positive side of issues if a failure be happy of the lesson learnt from it.
Reassure yourself.
Whenever undertaking a project much as you have the plan and resources and you reach at a point of turbulence there is need for an inner drive to propel you forward into the safe zone while ensuring that the project is in the right course.
You should appreciate your efforts and look forward to actualizing your vision; every step should be taken with smile. Love yourself, encourage yourself,
Whenever you respect your work other people will fall suit and respect it, the synergy created will push you further towards attainment of your goals.
