President William Ruto has bashed off opposition leader Raila Odinga to stop protesting against the government, saying the election was over and he was validly elected.
Speaking at Kisii County during three day visit, the president told Azimio la umoja leaders to give him a chance to work and transform the lives of Kenyans as per the pledges he made during the campaigns.
“We went to the election and I was elected. An election whistle blower cannot determine the president of a country” Ruto said after he commissioned the Kisii town water supply project Kegati water treatment Plant.
President asked Kenyans to unite for development and stop participating in the ongoing Azimio protests.

The president, who earlier launched Konza Digital Laboratory at Kisii national polytechnic and gave the Institution 100 computers, urged all students to learn computer skills to help them create online jobs.
He said 500,000 students would have access to digital platforms as part of the transformation for the youths to work online to eke adding,.
“I want to be told when I return here that 500 and 1000 youths have acquired computer skills and are working online” Ruto said.
The government noted the president would give 23,000 computers to Technical and vocational educational training institutes (TVETS) nationally to elevate them into digital institutions.
He said 1,300 tutors would be employed for TVETS nationally and 50 will be deployed at the polytechnic and urged those ones employed by the Institution to apply, adding it will ease the burden of parents paying their salaries.
Ruto announced the government would pump Ksh. 100 million to complete lecture halls, build 5000 hostels, adding the government would also employ 2000 tutors for Technical Training Institutes to equip youths with skills to create jobs.
He was accompanied by governor Simba Arati, Deputy, Dr Robert Monda, Senator, Richard Onyonka, Lawmakers- Zaheer Jhanda ( Nyaribari Chache), Silvanus Osoro ( South Mugirango), Japhet Nyakundi ( Kitutu Chache North), Alfah Miruka ( Bomachoge Chache), Dorice Donya Aburi ( Kisii county Woman Representative).
Solicitor General, Shadrack Mose, Chief Administrative Secretaries- Joash Maangi (Foreign affairs) Vincent Kemosi (Trade and Industry) and Gloria Orwoba (nominated Senator) and Kisii national polytechnic principal, Daniel Nyariki also accompanied the president.
