Today, we all know that nature needs human help and care. The reason for this is our inhumane attitude towards nature. Many environmental problems have arisen as a result of improper organization of production relations over the years.
Environmental problems arise as a result of blindly interfering with the laws of nature. For example, as a result of the release of various harmful gases from a large factory, the ozone layer in the atmosphere is destroyed, and the hole created is currently a concern for all mankind. As a result, various harmful rays from the sun are not cleared from the hole in the damaged ozone layer but fall directly to the earth.
It is known that our motherland is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Great mountains, rivers, and lakes; a clear sky; green fields; in short, the whole of nature fascinates everyone, between you and us.
Nature is an entity that exists both before the appearance of man and with the presence of man. In general, this is the world, man, universe; micromacromegaworlds; inanimate and animate. In a narrow sense, natural sciences are the object of study. Nature obeys laws independent of people and society. Man is a part of nature. Man cannot change the laws of nature; he can only master the elements and parts of nature using the laws.
The concept of nature is also considered as a set of natural conditions for the existence of human society. Man works and labors for a living (for example, farming, construction, and industry), brain activity, etc. change some aspects of nature. Material wealth created by a person, that is, in the process of social labor, is conditionally called “second nature”. For example, 92 chemical elements from hydrogen to uranium are naturally occurring, while those discovered later are artificial. All man-made synthetic chemical compounds, man-made atomic and nuclear energies are “second nature”.
Nature protection is a set of all activities aimed at rational use of nature and its resources, conscious change of nature for the benefit of man, preservation and further enrichment of natural resources and nature in general, its beauty and purity. The complex of environmental protection activities includes activities carried out by each individual by states, international organizations, public, scientific and technical, industrial, economic and administrative organizations.
In nature protection, it is of great importance to promote knowledge about nature, its rational use and protection among the population, and to improve the geographical and ecological culture of the population. The courses on protection of nature and its resources, geographical ecology are taught as a special course to students of natural sciences of secondary and higher educational institutions.
