It’s no wonder that when everyone hears and remembers this word, a mysterious feeling in their hearts.
I am surprised.
Why does everyone miss their childhood, why is childhood the pain of all poets and writers?
Don’t you think that other memories or other feelings do not have a place in the heart of everyone who is going through the stages of life?
This story that I want to tell you is just a drop of my childhood sea.
The first days of August. We were going to spend part of my vacation this year at my grandmother’s house.
The birds did not stop chirping from early morning. The sky was clear, in the sky there were only white clouds that remind the pipe dreams. Yes, those were the clouds in my dream. Why did I say that in my dreams? Oh, yeah that was in my dream at the moment, maybe in the future: flying in the sky without any wings or not even on a plane. It was just a miracle if I stand on the clouds and watch the world. I know it was impossible…
The grape leaves swayed gently in the morning breeze. Broadcasts were being on TV. We were having breakfast together. Everyone was watching a broadcast about girls who received the State Award named after Zulfia. I did not know how much time passed; my grandmother’s words dispersed my thoughts. I still clearly remember: “Be Zulfiyakhanim. One of my biggest dreams. I wish I was as young as you, I would be a doctor whose intentions are as white as his clothes, and I would wear the Zulfiya medal on my chest… Be Zulfiya Khan, my daughter. For this, you only and only need to study well.
You have great opportunities.” Since then, this heart whispers: You will achieve. One of my grandmother’s dreams is about to come true. Yes, that doctor. Today I am a student at a medical university. I didn’t know how long until her biggest dreams come true. But I will achieve. After all, I’m on my way. As we know, every road has an end and a destination.
