Chetna Bhatia
I, Ms. Chetna Bhatia, a teacher, an art lover and a nature lover, born and brought up in Jamnagar Gujarat, now settled in Mumbai. I have been in the field of education for more than 30 years. My profession as a teacher developed a passion for writing in me. I have contributed several poems, quotes and stories to more than 40 National and International anthologies. I write in 3 different languages, English, Hindi and Gujarati and have my own book of quotes, valentine’s day special ‘Unspoken feelings’ which was a bestseller on Amazon. I am the editor and compiler of 8 Anthologies. Out of which ‘Abhivyakti’, a Gujarati Anthology, won the best literary award. I am working towards giving a platform to new writers and keeping the mother tongue alive.
Talking about my recent book ‘Beyond The Horizon’ Exploring the mysteries of life, is a poetry book with 112 poems that talks about sweet and bitter experiences of life. Through a very simple language, the poems explore the themes of love, loss, joy, pain, hope and everything in between.
This book was launched through the Creative Writers group and published by Notion press. I am very much thankful to the team of Creative Writers group and special thanks to Brinda ma’am who is the founder of this group for giving such a beautiful platform for writing and publishing their own book to the students as well as adults. Every regular writer is given a certificate every month and also awarded at the annual function. I really appreciate the hard work and dedication of the team.
And feel blessed to be a part of such a group.
