Kisii County Commissioner, Tom Anjere, has provided assurance to the public regarding the security preparations ahead of the National Examinations scheduled to commence in two weeks.
Speaking in Kisii County, Anjere emphasized that they have implemented comprehensive security measures to ensure the examinations are conducted with integrity and without disruptions.
He acknowledged the existence of individuals with dishonest intentions who may attempt to deceive the public through cheating.
Anjere stated that security has been activated in every sub-county to prevent any exam irregularities from occurring.
Furthermore, he urged examination officers to remain vigilant throughout the ongoing examination process.
He said that the Government is committed to sustain its efforts to ensure high levels of credibility and integrity in the administration of national examinations.
Anjere issued a stern warning to anyone contemplating cheating in the exams, emphasizing that they will face legal consequences.
