- In 2019, the journey to seek a publisher began. It wasn’t successful and Eric lost his manuscript in the process. He never gave up after this encounter.
- In 2020, after the corona struck Eric found something to busy himself ere school would be resumed. He finished another manuscript “Chronicles of a poet”. He began searching a publisher again. He says it wasn’t an easy task since he’s a single mothered boy whom has been brought up by his grandmother without much support from his mother.
- He luckily got Bright Brains Publishers and the journey to publishing began. His book was later released in July 2021 while at his form three level.
In life things may seem good to some people who keenly observe our lives but the real zinger of the matter is that things are nor so. Eric Kyalo (son of hope) shares a thrilling journey of his writing career ; whence he began , when and how it blossomed into a reality .
HOW ERIC DISCOVERED HIMSELF
Discovering aught in life isn’t an easy task. Sometimes we may be torn apart and lack knowledge of what is our intend. But, Eric, did it I’m amazing and surprising way. While in his primary school, Eric could write many things including summarizing textbooks and revision books. Many people including his teachers didn’t understand him at that time. He himself had a vision that one day he would write books. When he went to secondary school, Nturiri Boys High School in 2018, things were now clear that he is a talented and endowed world class writer . In year 2019, he was through with his first book “Messages of favour from God “. He had now rooted his leisure and free time in writing. His teachers knew that he is a writer. He now completely discovered his potential.
HOW ERIC BEGAN BIG

After releasing his book he was first featured in August 2, 2022 in Mt. Kenya Times and later 2022 in Read us Africa. He was also supported by EADtv from Nigeria. In year 2021 DEC, he won Community shield award from Gwwc . He studied diploma in creative writing in BC Writers Uganda , he later upgraded to more professional creative writing with the same institution .Being motivated by his journey Eric continued venturing into the world ; connecting himself with world writers and readers . He got special recognition from India , south Africa , Uganda , Malawi , Botswana , Zimbabwe , Nigeria , Sierra Leone , Cameron and Asian countries . It is this recognition that saw him have extra three books two months after his examination. He released Boundless voices, The voice of poets and Blazes of love
CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED
No journey is seamless you must encounter challenges and so did Eric. He encountered abundant and big setbacks as he explains. Finance, support, discouragements, anxiety, illness are among his stumbling blocks that had to pull him down. He, however, resisted to be let down by those triggers and stood sturdy. Today he has conquered some of those setbacks. He says his self-motivation made him overcome anxiety and discouragements. He has now gotten a publishing sponsor, Romche Romance, an imprint of Noel Lorenz House of Fiction who aids his publishing journey.
ERIC’S FUTURE PLANS
His future is bright as many people do tell him. He has gotten positive remarks from his honest and true fans that encourage him. He says that over four manuscripts are ready. He also wants to take a course in philosophy despite the discouragements he has gotten concerning back home. His friends, lecturers and international community tells him that is a great course. He loves it with his passion and his desire is not about making money but improving his writing goal, serving humanity and understanding life better. He is on the process of enacting his publishing House, Destiny Ink Publishers.
WICKED PERCEPTION
Many people think that writing more so poesy is an easy task. Eric says in writing though due to his ambition and consistency in poesy he finds it easy, it is not. He says poesy is rated the most difficult form of writing followed by short stories. Art is art and nobody should fool writers and poets that their work is easy, it is not.
GENRES THAT ERIC DO WRITE
Eric is not a writer who is one sided, he is a poet, motivational writer , playwright , novelist etc . He has a wide range of genres that he writes and thus in this way he is able to win many preferences of readers and their desires. In all his books he says he considers the intend or the reason for each reader ranging from entertainment , provoking , teaching , warning , correcting, persuading , instilling hope and fear , discovering etc . And this is what has made many people fall in love into his form of writing and books. He is currently a reknown compiler and classicist judge and manager at international writing communities. Yay! He is growing to world realm of Shakespeare and other great poets who ever existed.
