The Speaker of Nyeri County Assembly John Kaguchia has vowed to diligently serve Mukurwe-ini residents if they elect him as their Member of Parliament.
Kaguchia says he has at his fingertips, solution for the myriad of problems facing the people he is seeking to represent in the August House after the General Election.
Speaking at Mihuti yesterday during a campaign tour, Kaguchia who is seeking to be the next MP under the sponsorship of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party outlined his manifesto to hundreds of locals who attended his rally.
He said he would address the shortage of teachers from ECDE, primary,ย secondary to tertiary institutions in the area, the Speaker said he would ensure the learning institutions had the required personnel.
To farmers, Kaguchia he had a Blueprint on irrigation,ย ย coffee and dairy farming and challenged the residents to bet on him and wait for fruits of his leadership.
“My manifesto has clear outline on what I intend to do in all sectors.ย From infrastructure like roads and in security and learning institutions to farming in all sectors, I know what in Mukurwe-ini want.ย I will not let you down and will diligently work for your benefit,” Kaguchia, the frontrunner in the Mukurwe-ini parliamentary seat said.
The Speaker is expected to battle it with among others the incumbent Anthony Kiai who is defending his seat on The Service Party (TPS) ticket and Jubilee’s Kariuki Wa Muchemi.
