TSP DEPUTY PARTY LEADER SUSAN NGUGI CALLS FOR RESPECT AMONG LEADERS AMID WAR OF WORDS BETWEEN GOVERNOR NJUKI AND COUNTY WOMAN MP

The Service Party deputy leader Susan Ngugi and now Tharaka Nithi County woman MP candidate has called on leaders from the County to respect one another ahead of polls for a peaceful County.
Speaking during launch event of Ubuntu ambassadors’ group at Chuka town,Susan said even leaders who exhausted their tenure still remain leaders and ought to be respected.
“If a person has served at whatever capacity may it be MP, woman representative or even an area manager, they remain leaders who deserves respect since they are our useful resources who as current leaders we should be consulting when need be,” she said.
Susan was hitting at Governor Muthomi Njuki who has been engaging in war of words with the incumbent woman Representative Beatrice Nkatha Nyaga for accusing Njuki of rigging her out during UDA party primaries in the County.
Despite Nkatha withdrawing from the race since then,Njuki has been hitting Nkatha in his rallies over what he terms as poor performance which saw the MP floored in UDA party primaries by an entrunt Beatrice Kinyua Kathomi.

Boiling with anger,while issuing bursary cheques at Kaanwa Secondary School on Friday of last Week, Nkatha asked Njuki to leave her alone and instead focus on his re-election bid since she is not vying for any elective post to warrant attacks from him.
“Njuki has been going round saying that am smiling at residents with a gold tooth,has this fees cheque been brought here by the tooth he is talking about?I am not vying for any political post and thus Njuki should focus on telling residents what he will do for them in five years and why he hasn’t done it so far,” she said.
Thus Susan who doubles as the current Marimanti MCA said it is not right for Njuki to continue attacking Nkatha even after her having withdrawn from County politics and instead the governor should respect her as she continue serving until August polls are held.
