CS Joho Meets US Ambassador

Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs Hassan Joho yesterday held a consultative meeting with U.S. Ambassador to Kenya Meg Whitman.
During the meeting held at the ministry headquarters, they discussed pertinent matters relating to the Kenya-U.S. partnership on investment in the areas of mining, blue economy and maritime affairs.
These areas contribute to Kenyaโs economic growth and equally has the potential of creating jobs for our young people.
Over the years, Kenya and the U.S. have enjoyed cordial relations and commitment towards that flourishes and deepens for the benefit of our two great nations.
In attendance during the said meeting were Principal Secretaries Mr. Elijah Mwangi (Mining), Ms. Betsy Njagi (Blue Economy and Fisheries) and Geoffrey Eyanae Kaituko (Maritime Affairs and Shipping).
