Meet Lesego Asanda Bianca Mnisi, 20 years of age from South Africa in Mpumalanga at KwaNdebele.
She went to Vukuzame Senior Secondary School.
Her dream is to create a celebratory worldwide public holiday for Corona Virus African Continent.
Her motive of Global Unity day and what is its objective.
Global Unity Day is a desire to bring people together to celebrate/honour/embrace, the same struggles, Covid-19 pandemic and GBV have affected countless lives worldwide.
The objective is to raise awareness, honour lives of those we’ve lost and inspire collective action to address these issues.
Asand inspiration is the creation of Global Unity Day?
~History is an inspiration, we have never experienced anything like Corona Virus before , the implementing of Global Lockdowns which includes Schools , businesses & Travelling restrictions, Many diseases , viruses came but they have never put our lives in pause like the Covid-19 Pandemic did.
We need to embrace ourselves for being strong.
This should be done during the Global Unity day?
A moment of silence worldwide to honour lives that we lost, candle light can be made everywhere depending on how you wish to celebrate and remember the lost ones.
Proteas Flowers will be used to symbolize the holiday since they also come in so many different colors and varieties and also they symbolize strength, courage and resilience.
Asanda is hoping to convey message to the Global Community through Global Unity Day?
~ Global Unity Day is a call to action, reminding us that we are stronger together, and aim to show that every individual has a role to play in creating a more compassionate inclusive world. By standing united, we can overcome even the most daunting challenges.
