The contest for Nyeri County gubernatorial race has continued to attract more entrants.
Mr Nyaga Muya is the latest person to join the crowded race.
The youthful Nyaga has in the last few days been holding townhall meetings with opinion leaders from diverse backgrounds seeking their support.
This week, he has held several meetings and is expected to hold more in the coming days.
In the meetings, Muya who hails from Miiri-ini area, Mathira constituency and will be contesting as an independent candidate has been articulating his manifesto.
Others who are seeking to be the county CEO include the incumbent Mutahi Kahiga who is defending his seat on UDA ticket, industrialist Dr Thuo Mathenge who is contesting on The New Democrats (TND) ticket, Senator Ephraim Maina Kirinyaga who is the Jubilee party aspirant and independent aspirants Peter Maina Munyiri and Gachara Kamanga.
