Miraculous 3D Printing Technology And Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence

By Paul Kinyanjui

If you ask most Inventors, Innovators and Designers like me, they will tell you that it is very difficult to invent a prototype locally. To domestically come up with a prototype is both very expensive and time consuming. It is labour intensive, wasteful and messy.

Those who have tried this know and understand what I am talking about here.

Oftentimes, Innovators, inventors use tools, equipment and machines available locally and as well as locally available raw materials.

Some even go ahead and Re-use or Recycle second hand materials and items.

Most, if not all, tools, implements, equipment and workshop machines that are needed to produce a prototype or components are very very expensive and are all imported, from power drills, grinders to lathe machines.

Those who try to manufacture such tools and equipment locally end up importing assembly components since most components are not available locally.

They finally get frustrated and give up in the middle of inventing.

If there is a technology that is going to save Innovators, inventors and designers locally, it’s the 3D printing technology.

This will be the future and breakthrough of manufactures.

I hope that one day it will be possible for an inventor, Innovator or designer to walk into a premises and instantly leave with a machine component just like the way you and I can photocopy documents and have them in seconds.

With 3D printing technology,  it will be possible not only to solve medical problems like prosthetics but also save the cost of manufacturing, construction and even eradicate poverty.

Many more employment opportunities will be created.

Without the promise of an end product, the idea, creativity, prototypes and great visions are all futile.

My fellow inventors. Innovators, designers and engineers you know what I mean. Something should be done and most of all. Always remember that our works are a solution discipline. Coupled together with Artificial Intelligence 3D printing technology will be a future game changer.
