Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki yesterday held a series of meetings with Members of Parliament from different parts of the country. “Our country requires consensus building by all leaders, stakeholders and members of the public on the most effective way of accelerating the national vision of fostering national unity and inclusive prosperity for all the people of Kenya,” the DP noted, adding, “The Government is committed to ensuring that the input and voice of all role players forms part of a national consensus towards a better country for us and future generations”.
The meetings, held at Harambee House Annex, gave the DP an opportunity to hear views on how best the government can partner with elected representatives of the people to hasten implementation of the country’s development agenda.
