Worth Noting:

  • A first time offender is given a lenient sentence hoping that he will rectify his behaviour but if he repeats the mistake for several times the hope that he will reform fades and he is given a lengthy sentence sometimes the maximum allowed sentence. That is an example of how two situations are dealt with one with hope the other without hope.
  • At young age parents and community try to provide the best terms to the kids for they have hope that during the future days once these kids mature they will be in-charge of the family and the society but once they become adults if they fail to take necessary care no one is interested in them as there is no hope that they will promote the welfare of the family and the society.

He who has health, has hope; and he who has hope, has everything ….………. Thomas Carlyle.

When sick and experiencing a lot of pain one abandons all the other activities and concentrates on how he can have a good health. Many people have lost their lives as a result of ill health.

Huge percentage of budgets in all countries around the world is allocated annually to ministry of health for various reasons some of them being to reduce mortality rates, improve production capacity as healthy people will be more productive in terms of man hours and energy directed towards work.

Being in good health does not only need doctors’ intervention but also require you to have faith that you will recover. Some diseases like common cold will heal even without seeing a doctor as the body has its own mechanisms.

Your faith is important factor in your healing even as you plan to visit a physician. In the bible book of numbers chapter 21 there was a venomous snake that bit the people and many Israelites died. They cried to the Lord to take away the snake from them so Moses prayed for the people the Lord replied to him to make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten the other snake can look at it and live. Indeed anyone who looked upon it got healed. Had they not trusted in the Lord and prayed for a solution from him they could have continued to suffer without cure.

Visiting a physician is a step of faith that he will be able to diagnose you correctly then prescribe the best drugs or exercises and the drugs or exercises will help restoration of a healthy body condition.

There are many health facilities which you can attend but many people attend the one they have hope in claiming that they prefer certain health facilities or health personnel than the other and that is what we say one has a faith and hope in. it is from this point we advance our conversation by visiting them disclosing our personal information and trusting that it will be used solely for our benefit and on health issues only.

In all life negotiations whether it is businesses we usually engage in negotiations with those we have hope in otherwise if you know that someone will not come to your aid then it seems to be a waste of time trying to engage him.

There are several notable incidences where some potential consumers or service and goods providers have breached the trust making those they are transacting with not to trust them any longer even not to engage in any future business.

In projects appraisal any of them that proves unable to have good return on investment or taking relatively long period to breakeven it is abandoned due to lack of hope with it.

A first time offender is given a lenient sentence hoping that he will rectify his behaviour but if he repeats the mistake for several times the hope that he will reform fades and he is given a lengthy sentence sometimes the maximum allowed sentence. That is an example of how two situations are dealt with one with hope the other without hope.

A farmer cultivates his land and plants the seeds with the hope that water supply and other conditions necessary for crop growth will be available and favourable so that he will be able to harvest in the future. Could he be aware that all the necessary requirements for crop growth up to maturity will lack therefore there will be no harvest he could neither bother to prepare the land nor plant.

An accountant prepares budget as he has hope that the enterprise will be an ongoing concern in the foreseeable future. If he has no hope that the business will thrive then he could not bother to prepare a budget.

Whenever we hope we are able to work hard so as to achieve expected results either today or in the foreseeable future otherwise there would be a lot of desperation in life.
