I know your pride, dignity, and vanity
You remain in flow and keep dignity
You often grace every race
Oh! I am envious of you in this case
Sohni adored your caves
Ranjha honored your waves
You glow and show to friends and foe
Cow herd cherish and Crow coos
O’ friend of endless generations
You remain cool as a cucumber
Commemorate, teach us narration
You live and don’t in numbers.
I know your vanity
You bamboozle calamity.
