Listening is a quiet art,
Not everyone takes it to heart.
When you speak, you share your view,
But when you listen, you learn what’s new.
You hear what others long to say,
Their silent thoughts, fears kept at bay.
A patient ear can build a bridge,
Between two minds, across the ridge.
Listen deeply, not just hear,
With open mind and heart sincere.
Don’t rush to judge, don’t speak too soon—
Let silence hold the room like moon.
No need to fix or take control,
Just being present makes them whole.
Let them pour what they conceal,
And in their words, the truth you’ll feel.
It’s not through talking we grow wise,
But listening with attentive eyes.
To know the world, to heal, to see—
Listen well—that’s the key.
