Dragging Mother’s healthy corpse
To the bottommost, far beyond surfacing,
Feeding on her virtues there underneath,
Where her entombment persists
And the same worm surfaces,
Lauding the word of cultural modification
As they egotistically chomp morsels of Her masterly ethical systems,
To circularize worthless content as
Sad memories of her demise.
The sods of sullen debris,
Heap into a hillock of destitution,
The mast upon which hopelessness Evolves,
A pendulum of transfixal,
Oscillating between two Polars,
And still burrowing and surfacing
Under this accurst earth,
Divesting Mother’s eternal legacy
And soil rich sons and daughters’ Memories.
Political podiums and religious pulpits
Stink worm blather.
Blandish lies coat fatuous half truths.
Still Mother rots underworld, inert.
Her frosting corpse will never be warm Again,
House of stone walls stand debile,
Marred by flaws.
Dusty potholed streets, penury, death!
Her crunched breasts dew milk no more.
