A global peace and development organization has paid tribute to fathers worldwide, recognizing their role in nurturing families, promoting social stability and fostering responsible leadership in society.
In a Father’s Day message, Amb. Eugene Kavune Nzabonimba, Supreme Global President of the Global Union for Peace and Development (GUPD), praised fathers for their commitment morals guidance, protection, provision and moral leadership within their families and communities.
He said fathers play a critical role in shaping disciplined, united and resilient societies through their influence at the household level.
The organization called on fathers across the world to continue promoting peace, love, unity and responsible leadership, noting that lasting peace begins within families before extending to communities, nations and the global society.
The message also recognized leaders serving in various sectors, including government, faith-based organizations, civil society, international institutions and the private sector, for their contribution to development, service and humanitarian causes.
In addition, the organization expressed appreciation to Kenya’s President and other male heads of state around the world for their efforts in promoting peace, stability and national development.
The statement urged leaders to continue serving with wisdom, integrity and dedication for the benefit of their respective nations.
Quoting Proverbs 22:6, the organization emphasized the importance of parental guidance and mentorship in shaping future generations.
The message concluded with Father’s Day greetings to fathers around the world, wishing them good health, wisdom, strength and long life as they continue serving as pillars of their families and communities.
The statement was issued by the Global Union for Peace and Development (GUPD), Peniel Mission Ministries and affiliated peace, humanitarian and development organizations.
