Thundering inside you like a clatter of cotton,

You cannot find a place to settle yourself.

Your voice can be heard across the world,

Even in its murmur, no one knows.

Silence…

You want to shout from the high mountains,

Let the skies and seas hear it all.

Within the world, from your tiny heart,

Tightening is felt as time passes.

Silence…

Tears stream drop by drop from your eyes,

You cannot find meaning in any of your words.

Your pillow is wet, yet you do not feel it,

Something is seeping down from your face.

Silence…

You want to turn away from everything then,

Like volcanoes inside your heart.

You know, there is no use in any ‘remedy’,

You seek measures wherever possible.

Silence…

Let the winds blow your thoughts,

Clinging ivy to the branches of trees.

Rocks crush as if your head,

Thorns mercilessly tear at your body.

Silence…

Listen to every sound within,

Even the silence of words, heed it.

If the pen suddenly stops on the paper,

Understand that your path has ended.

Silence…
