Botswana Young Writer Gets Honored In India by international internship University On Christmas Day

Dr Paula O.M.Otukile got honored in New Delhi, India with an honorary doctorate degree for her arts and research in various African countries.

Dr Otukile interviews and features authors, poets, oral narrators, publishers, and editors as well as illustrators in Mount Kenya times daily newspaper in Kenya, Diaspora times weekly newspaper and a monthly magazine called Listen To Africa, she also do quarterly interviews on Sauti wa Africa magazine.

She is the founder of Mulher Forte African literature awards project and it runs for the third year, it gives recognition to the African literature.

Her main job is the Gender based violence activism and has been going around twelve schools in Botswana from October 2022 to last day of school giving talks and donating her children’s book “Thato Wishes to be a butterfly!”

Dr Otukile has written more than twenty six books and collaborations with more than ten various Africans from ten various countries, she has been featured in Crotia newspapers, New zealand, India, Morocco, Rsa, zimbabwe, angola to name but a few, recently was on pepper magazine in New York.

She mentors young writers and poets across the continent and continue to write and review!

Dr Otukile recently won her 7th international award and emerged as best author of the year, in Zambia on 16 October 2022.

Her humanitarian work has been recognized by UNICEF, German embassy in Botswana, And First Lady of Republic of the Botswana and recently European Union called her on a courtesy call to discuss Gender issues end of November!

We congratulate our youth for doing well and she is such an inspiration to the youth and writing fraternity, continue to fly the flag higher Dr Otukile.
