Teso South MP Mary Emaase

The National Assembly’s Departmental Committee on Sports and Culture in a Session chaired by Mary Emaase (Teso South) conducted an inspection visit of the Jamhuri Sports Complex along Ngong road In Nairobi.
The inspection visit is part of the Committee’s mandate which involves inspecting and reporting on expenditures and implementation of projects funded by the government.
Jamhuri sports complex which used a tune of Kes. 1.3 Billion to be completed last year. The Complex has three football pitches, an athletic track, a rugby field, a running track, a children’s playground, a police station and a designated picnic site.
Members Present included; Naomi Waqo (Marsabit), Caroli Omondi (Suba South), Hon Charles Nguna (Mwingi West), Janet Sitienei (Turbo), Jackson Kosgei (Nominated) and Richard Yegon (Bomet East).
