When an error occurs
we try hard to forget soon,
but is not to be so easy
to do it by a dawn or noon.
Our faults mistakenly done
often in the conscience croon.
The thoughts of the wrong
huddle and heap like a dune.
Then, we start the process of judging us,
all good and bad, we honestly prune.
We rationalize all possible tricks
and then declare ourselves a fair goon.
Yet, the pestering concerns
deep inside, the mind will spoon.
Eventually, we perceive it has to stay
and forgetfulness is a boon.
