Today, in our country, increasing the interest of young people in reading, keeping them occupied with reading literary works is becoming one of our most important goals. In this regard, the current measures have an impact on young learners. “Five Important Initiatives” project was launched to meaningfully spend free time of students, to educate them as intellectually and physically mature individuals. Through this project, we were able to provide employment not only to students, but also to any stratum of the population that needs help, our women and girls.

If we focus on the fourth direction of this project, we will see that this is our weakest point today. That is, the fourth initiative is aimed at organizing systematic work on raising the morale of young people and widely promoting reading among them. In this regard, a number of events are being held in schools and higher education institutions.

For thousands of years, it has been showing people the right path, and an important factor in their being educated, educated, professional and, of course, happy is to be friends with books and to read books. is not to do. Books have a special place in the lives of young people. Because a good book increases a person’s feelings of love for the Motherland, respect for national and universal values, and encourages goodness and goodness.

Artistic, moral-educational, scientific-popular works intended to provide comprehensive understanding of in the period of literacy training, students are introduced to syllables, words and sentences and organized in the way of reading them, telling stories based on pictures, after mastering the reading technique, reading on certain topics it is conducted on the basis of selected artistic, scientific and popular texts.

Specific topics included in the elementary school “Reading Literacy” textbooks are defined by the fact that they introduce students to the magical world of fiction and focus on the correct formation of their worldviews based on the ideology of national independence.

Accordingly, the main feature of the reading classes is to ensure the literacy of the students and educate them in the spirit of high moral values based on the national ideology. The subject range of the works studied in the reading lessons of primary grades is quite wide, they are within the framework of general topics such as Mother Nature, seasons, folklore, and love of work, major holiday dates, national independence and spirituality combined.

The subjects chosen for the reading classes are intended to provide students with knowledge and education on everyday life, strengthening of independence and human relations. Among them, the themes of independence, homeland, spirituality and nature stand out. Their goal is to realize one’s identity, to awaken feelings related to independence, homeland and nature.

Topics of socio-historical content give a certain idea about the past of our country, the life of our people, heroic struggle, works done by great figures, historical dates. Among them are texts about Beruni, Amir Temur, Alisher Navoi, Babur and other ancestors.

This type of works not only introduces the students to our past, but also helps them to deeply understand their filial duty and responsibility towards the Motherland. This is how the feeling of love for the Motherland is formed in them. In the process of familiarizing with and analyzing the works that tell about the past of our country, the students will have the opportunity to compare the past with the present day, and form a brief understanding of the development of society.
