The fuel shortage continues to bite across the country following a stalemate between the government and oil marketing companies. The oil marketers said that they want the government to release Ksh.13Billion oil subsidy owned to them since the beginning of the year.

The oil shortage has already been felt in different parts of the country. Due to the oil shortage, the worst hit is being experienced whereby people are stranded all over because no transportation can take place and if there is, the charges are very high. People as well as different goods cannot move from one place to another as the way they are supposed to because of fuel shortage. Appointments are being delayed and cancelled.

If this continues, lot of things will be affected and we as a country will be dragging behind. So, the government should intervene in this problem in order to enable smooth running of operations in the country.
