- To bring it home, Gatanga, Muranga offered an redemption moment for the region yesterday after a meeting/event to celebrate selfless community driven initiative that had semi political undertones set pace for the regions various discourses that will see the making or breaking of the region.
- Pro and Antigovernment leaderships drawn from the various levels exchanged narratives that had fundamental basis of community unity of purpose. Whether pro or antigovernment the community must unite at all levels, the leaders constantly emphasized.
- This is very encouraging but must be accelerated by pillars of the regions political structures. More forums, more grassroots engagements and more emphasis must be the baseline.
Mt. Kenya has always been a headline region during all political cycles of our country.
This region has had a very articulate, well-crafted and deeply rooted community political systems that are entrenched in its customary “Kiama” where the elders take charge to offer guidance and directions on matters Elections.
However this has also been the community’s and regions biggest causes for its downfall.
Moi, Raila and now Ruto have always crafted Kenya’s political narratives based on Mt Kenya. Even the regions presidential candidates have always based their political contests on the region.
However A constant battering, and bruising, has seen Mt Region loose its communal political systems in instances such as “now”
Mt Kenya as a community has been nurtured by constant pain, threats, maiming and to extents a holocaust
The colonial in Kenya used terror to break down the communal structure that was way too advanced and that was a threat to colonialism.
The Moi regime took precedence and followed suit to dismantle the communities’ political structures and systems.
This one took the atrocious dominance driven agenda further by outlawing the communities youth. Youth in the Mt Region communities has always been the fountain of rejuvenance for the community and has offered redemption from the suppressions the community/region has faced over the times.

Time will only tell the tale that evoked “unity, Consultation, Mature Contest” as well as the Gikuyu (Mt Kenya) essence.
Remember this Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s Statement. Could this have been amongst the triggers, in similarity, the rejuvenation of Jubilee Party as well as the President Uhuru’s appearances in public and his firm stance on actively taking part in active politics as the Jubilee Party Leader? Well the UDA move has two dimensions of perspective 1. That Nyoro might be the architect or 2. WSR is preparing for an onslaught and wants to front “Development & Youthful Vigour”, cum “Hire apparent” to woe the Mt Region. Mt. Kenya is a development conscious region and most of the campaigns are always hinged upon development this and development that. First perspective, Ndindi might be ambitious and knowing what near future is going to present to his government, he has ceased the moment. No. 2 him having realized Moses Kurias ambition especially where matters Mount Kenya and Riggy G are concerned, has seen it opportune to drop the “Deputy Salvo”. In the last few weeks, Ndindi who had several legislators and other leaders from the Mount region and the country undertake a much publicized bench marking trip to his turf (Kiharu Constituency).
This amongst the many hyped “development” forums and initiatives going on in Kiharu , with other PR newspaper headlines indicate a well-crafted strategy behind this.
As is always with politicos, he has used his own county peers to “kick the door” and open up a discourse that has regional gravitations. The justifications about Kiambu, Nyeri vis a vis Muranga gives shape to the Ndindi 4 DP declarations
For the region, how this puns may be a revolutionary moment.
What if WSR doesn’t support the ambition?
What if then Ndindi pulls out of Government?
What if Ndindi is applying the same tactics WSR (what if he actually was the political architect for WSR)
Ndindi has always struck himself out as a philosophical oriented politico. His clarion call “ We are Afrikans and Afrika is our business”.
What if his ambition has boiled to the zenith and he cannot suppress the power urge any longer?
On the contrary perspective, if WSR is crafting preparedness Manuel for his party, and is the hand fronting Ndindi, then This may mean several things especially where matters Mount Kenya is concerned.
- He has belief that his current DP is a liability
- He is thinking Politique only after his first year in office. Question is will this not put the country on a perpetual political atmosphere and is super expensive. This however may work for him economically since every political cycle of the country experiences a high inflation but cash flow is high.
- would WsR be taking the opposition very seriously
- is WSR hell implications that may see him convince the region he still holds Mt Kenya Dear to him
My Kenya must be vigilant
Must Kenya must not allow some of these power plays lure them without surgical and critical review
Mount Kenya must disregard and ignore “Nairobi Experts” who ll be used to propel narratives from TV stations and not at the grassroots levels.
Lastly, what’s the opposition’s role in shaping these narratives by UDA?
How will the teaming of the opposition alter the courses that UDA seems to be taking

A FALL OUT LOOMING
The guns are out and blazing fire.
Muranga senator is making rounds with a “Mt Kenya Muranga Declaration” that is unforgiving, very explicit and direct to the UDA Party leaders.Give us this, with nothing less of a Deputy by the name of Ndindi in 2027 or we ship out.
Ndindi has hit top news recently for all sorts of reasons, however this one demanding he be awarded with the number two seat come 2027 seems a firm choice demand
Could this be a make or break for UDA in Mount Kenya region. Ndindi holds a very strategic position in his parliamentary capacity and him being a second term MP has seen other legislators benchmark in his constituency
Question is what’s this all about and who’s behind it? Is it Ndindi seems more like it, his guns have made direct demands to WSR and what if his demands are not met, is this the end of a relationship between Ndindi and WSR and his UDA Party ?
Is Muranga our business and our business is Muranga now?
How intact is UDA to absorb shocks such as a Ndindi walkout?
What would be the future of Ndindi were he to jump into the opposition?
This ambitious legislators future is shaping now and hopefully the decision moving forward steers him into the right direction, joining Jubilee Party. His future is here
