Our country today has been facing lot of changes especially unemployment whereby majority of the youths lacks jobs.
This issue has caused many of youths to find alternative ways to survive. Most of them as they struggle to make the ends meet they found themselves joining different gang groups some robing people money and other properties while others goes to an extent of killing in order to rob their properties.
Many have lost their lives when they get in an encounter with authority .While others are killed, those who successfully escape the bullet rot in jails around the country.
Also some youths who are jobless goes to an extent of engaging themselves in social evils such as prostitution which will increase the number of HIV/AIDS victims in the country and also the number of single mothers in the country. Also there are some youths who goes to an extent of even murdering their parents in order to be left with their properties. This can cause lot of conflict to the remaining parties after the death of the parents
In order to end this problem in our country it is the high time government should chip in to offer the solution through investing in different projects across the country to cater for the unemployed youths, on another hand youths should be encouraged always to involve themselves on activities will make them earn their living. This is for example starting self-employment activities like farming and sole proprietorship.
Also it the high time for the ministry of finance to set aside some finance to lend to the youths as loans but with low interest in order for them to get capital and this will create employment to many youths and also will help in economic growth and development.
