Healthy lifestyle – in the 80s of the last century, it was proved both scientifically and practically that the most important event in maintaining and strengthening health, in the long and happy life of people is lifestyle and its improvement. Since then, when it comes to health, there is a lot of talk about improving people’s lifestyle. Even this issue is reflected in important state documents, presidential decrees and laws. Many meetings, discussions, articles, broadcasts and shows are given on this issue. But what is a healthy lifestyle? If you put the questions of what should be done in order to achieve it, most people do not have any logical understanding of these issues other than a general statement. Therefore, we will try to answer the questions of what is a healthy lifestyle and what are the requirements for achieving it. There is no doubt that living a healthy and long life has been an ancient dream of mankind. From this point of view, the main task facing any society is to realize this dream of mankind, i.e. to create conditions for people to be healthy and live a long life. In different eras of human society, the issue of health was solved in different ways. With the development of social formations, health has been raised from private to general, from the benefit of narrow groups to the level of universal benefits. But in all times, a healthy lifestyle was considered one of the main requirements for maintaining health.
H if we look at the development of modern views on a healthy lifestyle, the historical data goes back to 1832 – the American physician Sylvester Graham (1794-1851). Sylvester Graham lectures on vegetarianism to Christians who immigrated from England to America because of his strong Christian faith. The reason is that according to some traditions of Christianity, eating animal meat, including eggs, was considered a sin. At that time, cholera was spreading widely in the American state of Philadelphia, and many people were dying from this disease. Graham observes that none of those who follow his vegetarian advice get plague. Then he decides that a vegetarian diet increases the body’s defenses and continues to propagate this idea widely. At the same time, there will be an increase in the number of people who think unconventionally in the field of health, more precisely, doctors, and among them there will be devotees and scientists who have done great work in the field of healthy lifestyle. In America — Howard Hay, Jennings, Troll, Tilden, Jackson, Herbert Shelton, Paul Bragg, Alice Chase, in Japan — Kostudzo Nishi, George Ozawa, Imamura Motoo, in Germany — Max Gerzon, in Israel — Michael Goren, in Russia — Yuri Nikolaev , Alexander Mikulin, A.N. Kokosov, Nadezhda Semenova and others. It should also be noted that most of the people who achieved a healthy lifestyle were suffering from serious illnesses, some of which were recognized as incurable by official medicine. However, they did not kneel down in front of pain, but fought for their lives. For example, Howard Hay – kidney cold (glomerulonephritis), Paul Bragg – pulmonary tuberculosis, Kostudzo Nishi – intestinal tuberculosis, Max Gerzon – migraine, Michael Goren – kidney tuberculosis, Alexander Mikulin – heart attack, Nadezhda Semenova – polyarthritis, Louise Hay – who suffered from uterine cancer and got rid of severe pain only due to healthy lifestyles. It is noteworthy that most of them were not doctors. Kostudzo Nishi is a metropolitan engineer, Mikhail Goren is a botanist, Nadezhda Semenova is an engineer-technologist, Alexander Mikulin is an aircraft designer, Louise Hay is a church worker. At the same time, they were critical of medicine, which was becoming more traditional at the time, based on treatment with fake drugs and surgical methods. They believed that maintaining health is natural, in organizing a lifestyle taking into account the characteristics of the body.
They also carried out strong organizational and propaganda work in order to convey their ideas in this field to the world public. The ideas and views of these devotees of a healthy lifestyle were supported by the most famous representatives of official medicine, academicians Yuri Lisistin, Nikolay Amosov, Fedor Uglov, Yevgeny Chazov, G. I. Staregorodstev, Galina Shatalova and many other scientists like them.
Those who lost their lives. Academician Yu. Lysistin, summarizing long years of scientific research and existing opinions and opinions in this field, people’s health depends 50-55% on their lifestyle, 20-25% on genetic factors, 15-20% on the environment, and medical services depend on people’s health. He decides that he can provide only 8-10% gina.
So, no matter how many hospitals we build, train medical personnel, produce drugs and medical equipment, and apply new and new treatment methods to medical practice, we cannot provide more than 8-10% of people’s health. we are 5,000 years ago in Egyptian medicine, the main requirements of a healthy lifestyle were defined as cleaning the body, following a diet, maintaining cleanliness, and exercising the body.
Hippocrates (6th century BC) also confirmed the above directions and generalized them a little, calling them proper nutrition, physical activity and hygiene. Most of the views that follow are based on the above directions, which have been greatly expanded and supplemented. For example, our great compatriot Abu Ali ibn Sina fully supported Hippocrates’ views and added to the above requirements such as internal cleansing and mental peace, keeping the proportions of the body, hygiene of clothing, clean air and ensuring moderate sleep and rest.
Paul Bragg’s programs and ideas are especially commendable in this matter. A healthy lifestyle requires proper use of sunlight, fresh air, clean drinking water, natural foods, occasional fasting and proper nutrition, physical exercise, good rest, good posture, and conscious , being reflective, Kenneth Cooper suggests that it consists of dancing to music to a certain rhythm. Cooper calls this movement “aerobics.” “Aerobics” in Uzbek means to exercise the body, that is, to supply oxygen to the internal organs. Aerobic exercise is also very common as a healthy lifestyle. Also, other American scientists Belloc and Breslow suggest the following as a measure to strengthen health: 7-8 hours of sleep every day; eat 3 times a day at specific times; breakfast every morning; maintain weight; not to consume a lot of alcohol; do physical exercises every day; completely quit smoking.
Russian scientist V. P. Petrenko’s thoughts on a healthy lifestyle include: personal hygiene; cocktail and relaxation mode; physical activity and exercise; proper nutrition; mental hygiene, mental prevention; environment and health; self-treatment and its harm; alcoholism and health; drug addiction and drug addiction; sex education and sexual health; AIDS and its prevention.
The evolution of life. Before moving on to the main topic, it is necessary to dwell on the process of the emergence of life on earth. Opinions in this regard differed according to the level of development of each era. But in this matter, evolution, that is, the doctrine that living organisms change and develop from simple to complex as a result of time changes, is closer to the truth.
Many scientists admit that 4.5-7 billion years ago, the earth was formed from the accumulation of dust, steam, and similar objects in the solar system. At first, his temperature was very high. Gradually, in the process of cooling, heavy elements began to settle in the center of our planet, and light ones began to settle around it. For example, from dust – earth, water, from steam – sea, oceans appeared.
After that, the formation of the earth in the solar system lasted about 2.5-3.5 billion years. Thus, as a result of changes lasting millions of years, chemical substances gradually became more complex. Proteins and nucleic acids form thick gelatinous solutions and form compounds called preservatives. These preservatives have the property of attaching various substances to themselves.
Later, they developed characteristics characteristic of living organisms, similar to metabolism. This complex substance-conservants, which has the property of exchanging substances with the external mu h it, can be called primary cells. This primary cell can be said to be the yeast of all living things, including humans. All living things, including the human body, are made of cells.
For example, the body of a person of average weight consists of 75-80 billion cells. Initially, all life processes took place in anaerobic (airless) conditions. Because the Earth’s atmosphere did not yet contain free oxygen. The representatives of the first life on earth were algae, and in this way, conditions were created for the living and reproduction of ordinary creatures.
This is the situation about 3 billion years ago. The transition of plants from the aquatic environment to living on land, the transition from reproduction by spores to reproduction by seeds, the origin of closed seeds, the nervous system in vertebrates, blood circulation, digestion, the complexity of the respiratory organs, the origin of classes of fish, aquatic and terrestrial, reptiles, birds, mammals – these are important stages of the development (evolution) of the living world.
At all stages of this evolutionary process, each individual adapts and improves to the factors of the external environment. Human evolution. The most unique and priceless product of the million-year evolutionary process is an intelligent person, who later became the main force determining and moving the development of society. Our current life is actually a direct continuation of the life of our ancestors. It is known that time is one of the main factors in the evolution of organisms. Therefore, it will not be without benefits to consider the period of the development process of mankind. According to many archaeological data, African man was born 4-4.5 million years ago. It was 1.5-2 million years ago that the Indonesian man came into the world, and 700-800 thousand years ago, our last generation – the Turanian man.
But it is assumed that this person came from Africa to Central Asia. In any case, the path of development followed by our predecessor is at least 4 million years. In fact, it is estimated that it was 25 million years ago that the ancestor of primitive man separated from the group of apes and formed an independent biological species.
According to the historical data known to us today, the history of our culture and the emergence of the first state are 7-8 thousand years old. It was 3300-2500 years after Moses, Zarathustra, Lukmon, Hippocrates, and Thales, the first forward-thinking representatives of human society. This period is only 33-25 meters of the 40,000-meter life line that we compared above. There was almost no change in the anatomical structure, physiological and biological laws of the primitive man and the modern man. For example, the German scientist Friedhard Klicke: “The structure and size of the brain of a person who digs and hunts with stone tools, later designs airplanes and mosques, calculates the dimensions of the earth using mathematical methods, and creates the current material and spiritual culture There is no difference between them,” he says.
The main factors that ensure the viability of a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle is also a holistic concept. So what is a healthy lifestyle? It is not so easy to answer the question. For this, first of all, we need to know the main factors that make up our daily life, ensure its vitality, and place them in a certain order. We believe that the main ones are as follows.
Nutrition factor. Eating, as one of the forms of struggle for life, is the main issue facing the total being. Man is no exception. It is clear that the daily concern and main goal of primitive man was to find food and fill his stomach.
According to the data, their main activity in eating was team farming. That is, they lived by picking fruits and roots of trees growing in hot climates, forests, mountain slopes, oases and valleys. Primitive man was a frugivorous man. Undoubtedly, the primitive man did not know how to store food products, and when he was hungry, he looked for food, and when he found it, he ate until he was full.
It is not difficult to imagine that he went hungry for several days because it was difficult and difficult to find food. At such times, he lived according to the internal capabilities of his body. And finally, humanity realized the connection between wrong nutrition and diseases.
Interaction factors. During its development, humanity was formed not only as a biological being, but also as a social product. Relationships can be conditionally divided into two interrelated parts. These are family relations that have arisen as a result of the formation and improvement of the family, and social relations that have arisen as a result of the formation and improvement of society. Both of these are the biggest and most powerful factors affecting human health. Propaganda of a healthy lifestyle will be popular, group and individual.
Based on the orders of the Ministry of Health, it is the duty of medical personnel to promote a healthy lifestyle.
