United Democratic Alliance Party of Kenya (UDA) held it nominations on 14th March 2022 for the gubernatorial, senatorial, Member of Parliament (MP) and member of country assembly (MCA’s)
Some of the current leaders holding elective posts retained their seats, there were also new entrants.
There were 5,000 aspirants in 36 counties who contested for 888 elective seats that were conducted in 16, 513 polling centers being served by 49, 811.
Those who were defeated in the nominations and would like to challenge the results will be expected to part with various amounts depending on the seat they were contesting for with the gubernatorial contestants paying Ksh.200,000 , senatorial ticket Ksh. 100,000, National Assembly Ksh.100,000, Members of the County Assembly 20,000.
