Due to technological advancement in the country, reports have shown higher industrial growth especially in urban areas while some have also shifted to other places in rural areas.
Waste disposal has become a great challenge especially in these industries that has been set up in rural areas.
Even though government has put in place strict regulations on water disposal, it is noted that the rule is being applied only in urban areas where there is regular check up on these industries.
Those industries that are set up in rural have been taking advantage on the fact that regular checkup may not be easy as compared to those industries that are in urban set up.
An example is one of sugarcane industries that have been noticed most of the time to be disposing their waste to different water bodies. These wastes are always dangerous to human since common mwananchi depends on this water for their daily consumption.
Its high time government agencies through relevant ministry to take a stick action on such industries that are endangering human life.
