MMV Associates Rolls Out National Programme, Alerts Banks and Security Agencies

A former freedom fighters and their descendants caucus has initiated a programme of assisting their members.
The caucus; MMV Associates CLG has unveiled an expansive nationwide programme and new financial and administrative resolutions in a formal letter addressed to the National Bank of Kenya, a move that places the organisation firmly on the national radar.
The letter, dated 19 December 2025 and signed by James Njuguna Mahuria, acting for and on behalf of MMV Associates CLG and the Jeremiah Mugi Foundation outlines several issues reached after a consultative meeting
It addressed to the Director General of the National Bank of Kenya, transmitted through the Karatina Branch Manager.
In the communication, MMV Associates has outlined a packed programme of activities scheduled between December 27 and January 21 next year.
The planned engagements include meetings at Kitony Heights in Kitale on 27 December 2025, Mt. Elgon Lodge on 14 January 2026, Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi on 15 January 2026, and Kakamega and Limuru Golf Club on 21 January.
The letter also detailed new financial arrangements governing the organisation’s operations. Members are required to remit a KSh1,000 subscription fee through designated pay bill channels, with the organisation stating that any member who fails to comply will cease to be recognised.
Separate payment instructions were issued for documentary books intended for submission to the Kenya National Archives, reinforcing the group’s emphasis on formal documentation and institutional record-keeping.
MMV Associates further announced that official cards and certificates linked to the Kenya National Archives would be issued by selected county-level leaders during the Kitale meeting.
All such credentials, the organisation said, will be published on its official website to allow for public verification.
In a sign of the breadth and sensitivity of its operations, the letter was copied to all County Commissioners, County Criminal Investigation Officers, and County Police Commanders across all 47 counties, indicating that both administrative and security agencies have been formally notified of the organisation’s plans and resolutions.
The organisation called on all its leaders and members to strictly adhere to the issued rules and resolutions and requested acknowledgment from the National Bank of Kenya for official reference and record purposes.
MMV Associates CLG and the Jeremiah Mugi Foundation have been positioning themselves as nationally coordinated entities with structured membership, financial discipline and documented engagement with public institutions.
In recent years, the organisations have increasingly sought formal recognition through banks, government offices and national archival systems, a strategy it says is aimed at promoting transparency, accountability, and long-term institutional legitimacy.
At the same time, the caucus called on women to join the Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Organization and be part of the team that is out to change women affairs in the country.
MMV Associates said women should familiarise themselves with MYWO as per notice issued this week.
The notice, published by the organisation’s National Election Board chairperson Ms Ann Wambaa is calling on women to register by April 30th next year so that they could be eligible to take part in the affairs of the body.
