Micro Small Enterprises Authority Busia team convened a session with the Busia Women Cross Border Traders Association, during which they presented a certificate of registration issued by the Office of the Registrar of MSEs…
The team also provided insightful information to the association regarding the African Continental Free Trade Area which offers them a prime opportunity to trade in the expansive African market comprising approximately 1.3 billion people & a combined GDP of about US$ 3.4 trillion.
Additionally, the team sensitized the traders on the Guided Trade Initiative, a program in which Kenya is a participating member state. The engagement was geared towards empowering the traders with knowledge to enhance their cross-border trade activities.
