My mother tongue — my soul, my cherished tone,
With you, each word I speak feels sweetly grown.
Your graceful melody lives in my chest,
A priceless heirloom my forefathers blessed.
When I listen, I hear ancestors breathe,
You light the thoughts where shadows used to weave.
Through you I found my essence, my true face,
My nation’s heartbeat, bound in your embrace.
A tale within my breast — my pride in you,
In this tongue sang poets noble and true.
Cholpon, Usmon, Erkin — their spirits soar,
With you our past and future shine once more.
