A dream for a girl child is being ignited this coming week. That it is possible to dream beyond the boardroom and cabinet, but it is a reality that can happen today.
Hope is being activated to the visionary girls in 2025, in the form of inauguration of Namibia’s fifth president as a lady. The importance of making it possible for women to excel in politics is that, it is a lesson to a girl child that they too can make it to the upper seat.
Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah shall be awarded the honor if not power to rule Namibian nation on the 21st March 2025, she will be entrusted with the responsibility to govern approximately 3, 022, 401 Namibians, is it an affirmation to girls that yes they can, and a great word for this is called change. This new dawn, regardless of political affiliation, or thought all must come together to support her vision and to make sure as citizens of Namibia she gains courage to rule a prosperous Namibia. Any opposition must bear in mind that the season of opposing must have Namibia in mind.
A great anticipation in her leadership, we hope to see empowerment, progress, a balanced and equality if not well calculated moves! Fairness of treatment for every citizen must be ensured and most must have an optimism, preparation to work together to build a future that honors the aspirations of all Namibians. A great horn is sounded on 21 March 2025, but it must be the beginning of greater things not just a mere change. As a woman the world and Namibia hope for green and greater growth and more elevation of women leaders in her reign. Emancipation is here, to be led by a woman is a blessing and more importantly it is a footpath that shines the democratic mind of the nation.
Footprint of democracy lives in Namibia she only need to hold the forte and continue to lead to more better ways, innovate and call investment that can create better job opportunities and grow the economy too.
May God protect and bless Namibia more for allowing a woman to lead and demonstrate the true strength and ability of a woman. Leading is not a sole action but a collective effort of men and women while the president is a torchbearer. God bless Namibia 🇳🇦.
