Nyandarua Governor Francis Kimemia displaying his nomination certificate

Nyandarua County Governor Francis Kimemia was yesterday cleared to defend his seat.
The Governor who will fly the Jubilee Party flag in the contest was given the nod together with his Running Mate Qs Isaac Gitura.
While issuing the clearance certificate at the Catholic Hall in Ol-Kalou town, Nyandarua County Returning Officer Nancy Wanjiku Kariuki said the governor had met all the requirements set out by the Commission.
Kimemia was accompanied by his wife Anne Thuita and outgoing Deputy Governor Cecilia Mbuthia later addressed his supporters in Ol-Kalou town where he vowed to continue with his development agenda if re-elected.
