Nyeri County Assembly Speaker John Kaguchia’s bid for Mukurwe-ini constituency parliamentary seat got a major boost after his competitor withdrew his candidature in his support.
Businessman David Warùí Kìnanirì endorsed Kaguchia for the Mukurweini seat saying he had made the decision out of free will.
Word has it that Kìnanirì could be nominated as governor Mutahi Kahiga’s Deputy, a move that was reached at after Nyeri top UDA aspirants met Deputy President Dr William Ruto a few weeks ago.
Now, Kaguchia will face it with among others Jubilee’s Kariuki Wa Muchemi.
