President William Ruto on Friday graced the World MSME Day at KICC in Nairobi.
Small enterprises are the engines of our economic growth. They not only drive innovation, but also support livelihoods.
So immense is the sector’s potential that it creates the largest number of jobs and generates earnings for our young people and women.
The Head of State noted that his administration was focused on unlocking its full capacity through modern infrastructure, progressive policies and access to affordable credit so as to accelerate inclusive and sustainable transformation.
At the same time, he said, “For the criminal elements bent on destruction of lives and businesses, we are unequivocal in our determination to deal with the thuggery they have disguised peaceful protest.”
