Public Meeting on Women ended up prematurely as Tear gas fired

Public meeting on Women at Gusii stadium disrupted as Azimio Deputy President designate was handed off microphone.
The public meeting was majorly about women.
On 29/6/20222 Kisii county governor James Ongwae directed that women to attend the meeting.
The running battle started early in the morning when , men forced their way at Gusii stadium , police officers were forced to use tear gas to disperse them.
Later they were allowed and attended the meeting.
The meeting was majorly targeting women and men were not allowed to attend the meeting since it was women affair.
While Ongwae was welcoming Karua unknown tear gas was fired.
The public were forced to run away and the meeting ended up prematurely.
It is in public domain there is differences between Ongwae and Arati .
The establishment of tear gas has not been confirmed.
Some vehicles windscreens were destroyed.
Police security officers denied commenting over the matter.
