By Our Correspondent
United Democratic Alliance (UDA) deputy president candidate Rigathi Gachagua yesterday campaigned in Nyeri’s Kieni constituency where he implored upon the voters to support its candidates.
Gachagua said by supporting the party candidates, they will assist the government in its agenda of developing the country.
He said a presidency without good numbers in Parliament may have an uphill task in delivering some of the pledges being made by the party to Kenyans.
He spoke at various trading centres in Kieni West sub-county during the afternoon tour.
Among the areas the team addressed the locals include Nairutia, Kiawara, Bellevue, Embaringo, Watuka and Endarasha.
He was accompanied by among others governor Mutahi Kahiga as well as UDA candidates Wahome Wamatinga and Njoroge Wainaina. Others were Kieni parliamentary candidate on Democratic Party of Kenya Stephen Kiriungi Muchire and his Chama Cha Kazi candidate Wachira Keen.
